The magazine »Akademische Mitteilungen« (»AM« for short) is a publication of the Communication Design course at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design and is located in the area of independent cultural and social magazines. It is distributed nationwide and internationally in selected bookstores and online.

The 23rd issue of the magazine, which has been published since 1996, appeared in a special edition in newspaper print, with a total print run of 2,000 copies under academic supervision by Maik Stapelberg and Daniel Fritz. On 96 pages, the magazine addresses various aspects of motivation and sheds light on their backgrounds. The release took place as part of an event on July 13, 2018 at the »Imperia – Imperial Concept Store« in Stuttgart.
