Redesign of the packaging for the collaborative robot »APAS«, created on behalf of Bosch Manufacturing Solutions GmBH.

When designing the packaging, the focus lay on a uniform appearance for the entire product family, consisting of three robot types, as well as a clear and consistent design language. Furthermore, a solution was to be found which was easy for the user to handle and cost-effective from a production point of view.

Wireframe representations of the CAD models in their original size were combined with mandatory indicators for the center of gravity and breakage control. In addition to the contents, the exact positioning of the robot in the packaging is visible to the user even before it is opened.
